Well, as you can tell, I haven't blogged for a while. I am here in Utah where it snowed today! Tjhe temp was 35F or 2C.
Surgery for Erica and Eden is postponed until 2nd week in November because they need to get 2 operating rooms at the same time. It is frustrating. Douglas will go back to work so he can get the time off when he needs it. Erica is keeping the boys home from school so they don't bring any germs home,there is an average of 50-100 students out each day due to illness. I enjoyed the IEC(Indiana Embroidery Conference) in Indiana with 2 former friends from Hong Kong and we learned a lot of new things for our machines. Hopefully over the next few weeks I can get some projects done.

We went on a few different excursions. The streets were lined by these bamboo poles that were decorated. Twice a year for the Hindu's they put these baboo poles in front of their homes for celebration. Some were very elaborate and some were plain.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa, with a private pool while in Bali. We had a few spa sessions, went scuba diving,this was Lesa, Yvonne and Igor's first time to scuba dive.Sea walking-which is going underwater with a large helmet on with oxygen pumped in, they gave us a bottle with fish pellets to feed the fish. Lesa and Igor didn't go with us that morning, they were finishing up some homework for their online class.

Bali bird and reptile park

we went to a bird and reptile park, where we saw many wild and exotic birds, and reptiles. We were even saw a few kimodo dragons. We were supposed to go to Kimodo Island to see them in the wild, but the plane was being repaired and waiting for parts, so at least we got to see some in captivity.

Yvonne is playing in the Rugby Sevens

Yvonne is playing in the Rugby Sevens tomorrow morning in the under 20's women's team. It is an exhibition game. Hope fully she won't be injured so she can enjoy the rest of the other games tomorrow.

Diggin in the garbage again!

Well, we had some new acquisitions yesterday-all from the garbage- a little tikes picnic table, a high chair, 2 small bikes-(haven't totally looked them over yet) but all will be handy when the grand kids come. A few weeks ago I picked up 2 booster car seats.

We had a visitor to our little space of ocean-a jellyfish, actually we had another one the previous day which was quite a bit bigger, but the men who were doing some work for us outside decided to divide it up and take it home for dinner- a delicacy here in Hong Kong

Last week Andrew and I went to Langkowi, Malaysia while Yvonne was on her interim trip to India. Here are some pictures of our time spent there.

Hopefully I can upload some photos of quilts that I have quilted for friends. I am excited that my sister and her family are coming to visit in April.
We have been keeping up with the posts about Eden and pray that all will work out with all the things going on.

hopefully over the next few days I can get some pictures up. I'm settling back in to busy lifeinHong Kong,working on quilts and getting ready for a card class next week. We have pictures from Christmas which turned out really good.
